Primary Purpose of Position |
Support the Sales Team in the areas of new customer onboarding, customer service, quoting and order management, supplier relations and pricing, and compliance paperwork administration. This includes job creation, collecting/gathering of gradations, updating and maintaining accurate customer, supplier and pricing information in the system. |
Responsibilities |
· Create and maintain quotes for customers/supplier, ensuring best pricing practices for both Company and Customers, responsiveness, and high levels of customer service. |
· Manage relationships with suppliers to optimize annual and project specific pricing and ensure site-specific product availability. |
· Manage data integrity of customer information, quotes, job set-ups/pricing and orders in sales and dispatch systems. |
· Administer new account onboarding and approval paperwork in coordination with finance team. |
· Provide best-in-class customer service for both internal and external customers. |
· Support Sales Team in other areas as assigned. |

Primary Purpose of Position |
Manage and develop the Sunset Service Center, an in-house truck and equipment repair facility, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations for diversified logistics and materials company. This position combines hands-on shop management with financial and strategic oversight, including profit and loss (P&L) responsibility, budgeting, cost control, vendor negotiations, KPI tracking, and long-term maintenance planning. The Shop Manager ensures the effective operation, repair, and lifecycle management of all company trucks, trailers, and equipment while leading a high-performing team of shop and warehouse staff. |
Responsibilities |
Operational & Shop Management: · Implement and direct policies and procedures for the shop, set priorities, assign work, and establish schedules. · Oversee P&L performance for shop operations, ensuring revenue goals, cost controls, and profitability targets are met. · Prepare and manage annual budgets for maintenance, parts, labor, and operational expenses. · Monitor financial performance against budget, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions as needed. · Track preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring DOT and AVIR compliance. · Interface with the Logistics team regarding the status of repairs, out-of-service vehicles, and scheduled PMs. · Recruit, train, and develop qualified mechanics and warehouse staff, fostering a safety-conscious and results-driven culture. · Maintain a parts inventory and manage procurement processes, ensuring cost efficiency. · Grow retail shop services for independent motor carriers. |

Skills/Knowledge: | Excellent computer skills; proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and fleet management systems | Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, and MSHA compliance requirements | |
| Advanced knowledge of truck, trailer, and heavy equipment maintenance strategies. | TMT/Trimble or similar fleet maintenance systems (a plus) | |

Position Title | Safety & Compliance Manager | ||

Primary Purpose of Position |
This position is responsible for ensuring uncompromising levels of safety and compliance in the areas of DOT (Transportation), MSHA (Aggregate Mining) and OSHA (General Workplace Safety). This includes: development and continued refinement of all safety programs in accordance with applicable federal, state and local regulations; developing, monitoring, evaluation and continuous improvement surrounding all safety and compliance matters, including working with Human Resources, Supervisors and applicable staff around required disciplinary actions; ensuring all annual site inspections and reporting requirements are being met in areas of DOT, MSHA and OSHA; development and implementation of regular safety training courses for all personnel; management of all required drug and alcohol testing programs; ensuring timely investigation of all DOT, MSHA and OSHA incidences and navigation of such matters with the Safety Advisory Board; and, in connection with OSHA requirements, ensure proper facility-level safety protocols are in place and being met or exceeded by facilities personnel. |
Responsibilities |
· Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve written safety and compliance protocols for all companies in areas of DOT, MSHA, OSHA and facilities, including obtaining required certifications and training for role. |
· Investigate and bring to conclusion all safety-related incidents, including working with applicable authorities, insurance companies, Safety Advisory Board, and applicable staff, HR parties and Supervisors surrounding required disciplinary steps. |
· Through electronic and other means, ensure compliance with all Electronic Log Device requirements and Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) processes for both drivers and shop operations. Establish company driver truck safe operating procedures and ensure daily monitoring of electronic truck safety tools (i.e., speeding, hard breaks, hard turns, etc.) Based on findings, work with Supervisors (and HR as needed) to evaluate driver performance in these areas and ensure proper corrective action / discipline is taken. Routinely audit DVIR compliance. |
· Maintain all reporting and inspection requirements with DOT, MSHA, OSHA and other applicable regulatory agencies; Ensure compliance with IMC insurance and other IMC regulatory requirements. |
· Alongside Project Managers, develop and document all mining operations and safety requirements, including Federal, State, Local, OSHA and MSHA, and ensure site-team compliance with same; implement regular safety training and required annual MSHA refresher courses ensuring all operators are certified and properly trained for mining activities. |
· Working closely with HR and applicable Supervisors, develop and implement training programs for all staff around DOT, MSHA and OSHA. |
· Manage regulatorily required company drug testing procedures in coordination with HR and applicable Supervisors. |
· Develop and promote an incentive program based on driver’s safety scores. |
· Monitor company’s scores on the FMCSA website, keeping safety scores best in class. DataQ incidents when applicable. |
· Represent the company for all safety-related legal proceedings. |
